Nourishing hope

Nourishing Hope (formerly known as Lakeview Pantry), one of Chicago’s largest and longest-operating food pantries, has been selected as the primary beneficiary of Kovitz Cares’ efforts for 2020. Founded in 1970, Lakeview Pantry provides food assistance and social service programming to Chicago’s low-income residents. Lakeview Pantry provides 2 million meals to almost 14,000 unique individuals each year.

GRANT APPLICATION PROCESS

A formal grant application process is currently being developed to enable charities to apply to receive funds through Kovitz Cares. In the interim, Kovitz Cares is proactively reaching out to charities in the local community.
